The 2012 Victam Award for Milling was won by FOSS in recognition of its inline flour production monitoring solution called ProFoss Flour.

The award is given to the company displaying the most innovative and economically beneficial equipment, process or service at the Grapas International and Victam Asia exhibition being held in Bangkok, Thailand on February 15-17, 2012.

New NIR reveals more yield in flour milling

FOSS has released the NIRS DS2500 flour analyzer - a high performance near infrared (NIR) analyzer offering unique levels of accuracy in measurement of ash which is a key indicator of yield. It also gives a high level of accuracy when measuring other parameters such as moisture protein and color.
Seeing those small margins that other analyzers cannot, the NIRS DS2500 helps millers to tune production for optimal results from production, for instance, getting just 0.1% closer to target on ash content can give a return on investment of under a year.

Infratec 1241 – results in under 60 seconds

Simple to use, the Infratec 1241 provides flour testing results in less than 30 seconds. Just place the cup in the hopper, press the button and the results will be displayed on the screen.
